The Kea is an endemic parrot species of New Zealand. Some say Kea's are naughty, others say they are simply intelligent and curious; either way they are known as the 'clown of the mountains' as they rifle through people's unattended possessions and mischievously cause damage to cars.
Each Songbird paperweight whistle is skilfully hand-shaped from clay, fired, then hand-painted by our team of creative artisans. Because of their handmade nature no two birds are the same, making them even more unique and characterful.
